Oh look. More Adele. The.. illustrious, magnificent, incredible… Adele. How can her voice.. NOT be coveted, worshiped and adored? So much raw emotion filtered through her songs… This is one of those songs that reaches out, grabs me like a fist around my heart, and squeezes, refusing to let go. I want so so so badly for someone to make me their one and only. And actually mean it. And actually follow through, and prove to me that they have accepted my challenge/dare that this song gives, and … Yeah 
It’s not easy. Granted, I’ve been on the other side of this as well. Having to make someone my one and only even though it’s super hard for me to accept or believe in. How many times can one person have their heart crushed before that stops happening? Before it becomes so .. mundane and -normal- that you no longer have the innocence of a clean heart that’s untarnished and unbroken or cracked? I want to be able to love like I did when I was 15. Without fear, without “waiting” for that hurt. Without preemptive measures to protect oneself. But I do believe that after you have been in a relationship or two, or three, or four…. that once you experience heartbreak.. true heart break… it’s almost impossible to just go into a relationship anymore without instinctively trying to protect yourself. Which often causes damage to said relationship and so forth. I’m gonna BE with the person who does make me their one and only. And I’m going to be with that person as fully as my mangled heart can. I will do everything I can to give myself to them, make them my one and only, and not hide behind past hurts to try and keep myself from hurting again. I will not halfass a relationship or anything of the sort because of past hurts. I am strong enough to do that. . .
